Your Dog's First Day:

The first step to becoming a Howl n' Woof Dog Daycare member is to bring your dog in for a Daycare Evaluation. This is a full-day evaluation to determine whether we think we are a good match for your dog - a place where they can thrive!

It's likely that your dog will be a little nervous or stressed being dropped off on their first day in a new environment. Therefore we take great care to integrate them into the facility and the play yards without overwhelming them. We will first introduce your dog to one or two other dogs, carefully selected based on what you've told us about their social history and the behavior they are showing.

As your dog becomes more comfortable, we will integrate them into bigger groups of up to 15 dogs. If your dog shows us that they prefer smaller groups, no problem, we will keep them in smaller groups.

We will call you mid-day to let you know how your dog is doing, and upload a photo to our social media. We'll even email you a report card!

If your dog struggles on their first day - whether it be in the play yards or during rest times - we will make adjustments to try to make it easier for them. Occasionally, we determine that our environment is not the best fit for a particular dog, in which case we will let you know and try to recommend alternate solutions.

If you would like to bring your dog in for a Daycare Evaluation, please complete our Daycare Evaluation Request form. We will review your application and get back to you within 24-48 hours.
